]]> Tue Jun 14 2005 Swansea Landore Open Day, September 1985 http://gallery127359.fotopic.net/c579669.html These photos posted were taken with an old Kodak 126 format compact camera (remember them!). I took along along my trusty 35mm OM10 with a zoom lens. Reason for the 126? I'd run out of 35mm slide film and I wasn't prepared to pay some ridiculous prices being charged for that slide film by the 'on-site' vendors - and 'c*&p 35mm film at that... Photos here are around 20 y/o and have faded/colour-shifted so I have had to do a little work work with the scanner and photo-editing programmes. Now I have received a slide scanner, have loaded those slides onto my PC and have started doing a little work as they have 'colour-shifted' due to temperature, age and humidity changes over the years. Hopefully it won't be too bad... At this time the prototype MetCamm sprinter was down running a shuttle service between Landore and Swansea High St, with a chocolate and cream 1st gen DMU Only BR blue/blue-grey will be seen, R/F grey was just coming in, other colours were still in the future... I feel old!... Classes 03, 08, 20, 31, 37, 41 (Proto HST power car), 47, 50, various DMS, track machines, and wagons are represented.
